Jackie Anderson, Feeding America Wisconsin

Jackie AndersonWith more than 25 years of experience in local, state, and national nonprofit work, Jackie Anderson serves as the Executive Director of Feeding Wisconsin, the statewide organization providing policy and advocacy support for all Feeding America food banks across Wisconsin. Jackie is passionate about empowering others to use their voices in advocacy and believes that stories, lived experiences, and a shared commitment to food security can drive meaningful change in communities.  

John Battaglia, MD

Battaglia, John638808523725133936John Battaglia, MD, is Clinical Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, and was Medical Director of the Program of Assertive Community Treatment in Madison, Wisconsin (2005 – 2025).  After graduating magna cum laude with a BA in Psychology from Pomona College in Claremont, California, in 1980, he earned his MD with honors from Ohio State University in Columbus in 1984. Dr. Battaglia went on to serve an internship and residency in Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then completed fellowships with the Mood Disorders Program in the Mental Health Clinical Research Center at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and in Emergency Psychiatry at Parkland Memorial Hospital, both in Dallas. Dr. Battaglia has authored or coauthored numerous articles from his research on psychopharmacology (mood disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders), agitation, multiple suicide attempters, ethics in rural health care, and seasonal mood disorder.  He has lectured both nationally and abroad on a variety of topics including crisis intervention, treatment of agitation, and supportive psychotherapy.   He has been the recipient of a number of honors, including two Exemplary Psychiatrist Awards from NAMI, and Outstanding Lecturer and Excellence in Teaching awards from the Department of Psychiatry, University of Wisconsin.  For over 30 years he has taught supportive psychotherapy and crisis intervention techniques for various agencies including Southwestern Medical School Department of Psychiatry (Dallas, TX), Alaska State Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities (Community Mental Health Centers-statewide, AK), Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI), Milwaukee Public Schools Psychology Division (Milwaukee, WI) the University of Wisconsin Department of Psychiatry (Madison, WI), and Metabletica (Netherlands).  His book:  Doing Supportive Psychotherapy, was published by American Psychiatric Association Publishing (2020). He served on the NAMI Wisconsin (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Board of Directors from 2011 to 2019.

Dafna Berman is a psychotherapist with Froedtert & the Medical College of WI. She received her MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management, at UWM. Berman is the Southeast branch representative to the NASW-WI Chapter and serves as a member at large on the Executive Committee. She also serves on the Chapter’s Professional Standards & Regulations, and the Legislative & Social Action Committees. On the national level, Dafna is a member of the Expert Panel tasked with reviewing and updating the NASW Mental Health Policy Statement. Last year, Dafna was appointed by DSPS Division of Policy Development to serve on the Behavioral Health Review Committee. Dafna has over twenty years of experience in Social Work and has dedicated the past ten years to clinical work. She specializes in working with clients who experience severe and persistent behavioral health issues, often due to trauma.

Throughout her career, Kristina has worked across the healthcare and technology sectors, helping organizations improve engagement, outcomes, and user experience through innovative solutions. She is passionate about connecting people with technology that creates meaningful impact, particularly in aging, behavioral health, and patient-centered care. Known for her professionalism and relationship-first approach, Kristina combines strategic thinking with genuine compassion to help partners achieve long-term success.

Adam is a dedicated advocate and social work professional with a career rooted in community organizing and disability rights. A 2024 graduate of UW-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Social Work, Adam has been a staple of the Clubhouse community since 1996, championing its model of recovery and inclusion for nearly three decades. His leadership in advocacy is marked by foundational achievements, including the creation of the first disability network through the NASW and the establishment of the first disability caucus for the State Democratic Party in 2019. Currently, Adam serves his community as an appointed member of the Dane County Specialized Transportation Committee and works on the front lines of care at a Tellurian Behavioral Health group home. Whether advocating for policy changes at the federal, state, or local level, Adam remains committed to building more accessible and equitable systems for all.

Robyn Bradley, LCSW, MSSW (she, her)

Robyn Bradley is a WI LCSW, she received her MSSW in 1997 from The University of Wisconsin, Madison. Robyn serves as a Title 5 Social Worker with the WI Army National Guard; conducting crisis intervention, behavioral health and fitness for duty evaluations, command consultations, connecting soldiers to civilian and military resources, supports and services. In her role, she has facilitated Army postvention debriefings and training in the trauma informed postvention model of care. Robyn has a wide range of social work experiences in restorative justice, state and federal agencies and outpatient settings.

Roberta Bronecki, MSW, LCSW graduated in 2002 with her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts and completed her undergraduate degree in Social Psychology at University of Massachusetts, Boston, Massachusetts. Roberta has specialized in the development of behavioral health programs within a primary care setting. She has developed three behavioral health/primary care integrated programs in Wisconsin and Colorado. She is currently the Co-Founder/Clinical Director/Clinical Supervisor for Pine Valley Integrated Services. Pine Valley Integrated Services is an outpatient behavioral health and substance use program that is integrated into Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston, WI.  Roberta is also the Clinical Program Director for Pine Valley Residential Services, a program of six long-term care facilities based in Juneau and Sauk Counties. Roberta is the chair of the Clinical Network for the NASWWI, and the former chair of the Roche A Cri Consortia for Medication Assisted Treatment in Adams, Juneau, and Marquette counties. Roberta has been a clinical supervisor since 2006. In this role she has clinically supervised social workers, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and substance use counselors in their academic programs and post graduate work.

Ashley Buckner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, clinical supervisor, and founder of Anchor & Rise Therapy. Licensed in 35 states, she specializes in trauma recovery, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, crisis intervention, and clinician education, with over 16 years of post-graduate clinical experience supporting individuals, systems, and the workforce.                 

Nicole Carreon, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (she, her)

A board-approved supervisor, she provides practicum and post-degree supervision for LMFTs and LPCCs. Nicole works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with expertise in trauma, addiction, anxiety, relationship concerns, and neurological conditions such as tinnitus, misophonia, and hyperacusis. Certified in Havening Techniques® since 2022, she integrates this neuroscience-based approach into her practice and education, helping clients regulate their nervous systems and heal from trauma through gentle, effective, and transformative psychosensory methods.

Dr. Sara Casali is the Program Director of the new DSW program and an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Prior to joining UWM, she spent over eight years at Concordia University Wisconsin, where she served as an Associate Professor and MSW Field Director. With nearly 30 years of experience in social work practice, education, and leadership, her work and research focus on intersectionality, field education, child custody and placement evaluations, and advancing inclusive, student-centered learning. Dr. Casali has contributed to behavioral health workforce development through prior Health Resources and Services Administration-funded initiatives and remains actively engaged in national conversations on social work education and doctoral training.

Michelle Castile, CHW, CPPS, CPS

Michelle CastileMichelle Castile is a BSW student, Community Health Worker, Certified Peer Specialist, Certified Recovery Coach, and founder of Building Bridges Over Broken Systems. As a mother of two who has navigated through several major system failures, Michelle brings lived experience through relatable dialogue. Her work bridges the gap between those who need services and the systems meant to provide them. Through advocacy, peer support, and her signature Lessons Through Laundry presentation series, Michelle transforms personal crisis into collective action, one fold at a time.

Roberta S. Clark (she, her)

 Roberta S. Clark is the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. Prior to accepting this role, she held the following roles in Southern NJ – as the Development and Membership Director of Congregation Beth El in Voorhees, NJ, and as the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Atlantic & Cape May Counties in Margate, NJ.

Prior to moving to New Jersey, Ms. Clark was the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City for five years; prior to that, she spent fourteen years working for the Anti-Defamation League. Deeply committed to ensuring the safety and security of the Jewish people, and protecting the rights of all Americans, Ms. Clark brings significant leadership and experience in programming, leadership development, Jewish education, and fundraising to her position. In all the communities where she has worked, she has cultivated relationships with community leaders, educators, interfaith leaders, law enforcement professionals, political leaders and media representatives.

Throughout her career, she has developed and implemented interfaith security conferences; has trained thousands of law enforcement professionals on issues and incidents related to hate groups, extremism and terrorism; worked with dozens of educational institutions and school districts to successfully negotiate church/state issues and to provide trainings in the areas of bullying and cyber bullying; and provided guidance and assistance to community members who believe they have been the victims of discrimination and/or hate crimes.

Ms. Clark is a recipient of the 2013 FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award and the 2015 “Chai Award” from the URJ Greene Family Camp. She graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Political Science and holds dual M.A. degrees in Jewish Education and Jewish Studies from Gratz College in Melrose Park, PA.

 I am a lifelong learner who deeply values a holistic approach to well-being, encompassing self-healing, mental wellness, and physical health. I believe that fostering resilience and promoting wellness in others is not just a profession, but a calling—one that I have passionately pursued for over 20 years. I hold a master’s degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago and have dedicated more than two decades to supporting children and families impacted by intergenerational trauma. My professional journey has centered on creating safe spaces for healing, empowering individuals to build healthier relationships, and breaking cycles of adversity through therapeutic engagement. In addition, in February 2023, I completed a Post Graduate Training Certificate through Aurora Family Services Family Therapy Training Institute, which supported me in developing my skills in becoming an effective therapist working with individuals, couples, and families. Through my volunteer service, I have demonstrated a deep commitment to promoting mental health awareness and strengthening family systems within underserved populations. At the Salvation Army, I facilitated mental health support groups and delivered parenting education to families residing in shelter environments, with a focus on fostering emotional resilience, stability, and long-term well-being. Additionally, in collaboration with House of Kings and Priests, I have been involved in structured mental health discussion groups addressing the unique challenges faced by today’s youth, creating spaces that encourage healing, empowerment, and personal growth. Currently, I am the founder and lead therapist at Generational Cycle’s Moving Forward, LLC, an organization committed to promoting hope, wellness, and healing through psychotherapy. Our mission is to equip individuals with the skills necessary to establish safety, build resilience, and foster positive behavioral and relational patterns.

Gabriella Diéguez- Hurtado, MSW, LCSW (she, her)

Gabriela Diéguez Hurtado, MSW, LCSW earned her Masters in Social Work at UW-Milwaukee. She has worked as a bilingual therapist for twenty one years at Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers (SSCHC) providing services to an inner-city population in Milwaukee.  Gabriela is a generalist provider who enjoys being a witness to growth and change when working with children, adults, elderly, and families. Gabriela is the coordinator of students for the Behavioral Health Department at SSCHC. She has also collaborated on two research projects with Latinos, one with UW- Milwaukee on Behavioral Activation and the other with Marquette University on Attention Deficit Disorders.  Gabriela spends her free time as a volunteer with Common Ground doing community organizing in Milwaukee’s Southside, as a board member at her church and enjoying the arts scene in the city.

Shawyn Domyancich-Lee, PhD, MSW, LGSW (they/them)

Shawyn (they/them) is the MSW Program Director and Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Their scholarly work explores place-based attachment, especially as it relates to people’s connections to physical and natural place and space and notions of “home.” Shawyn created and taught place-attachment-centered environmental justice courses in social work programs and transdisciplinary sustainability courses across a variety of majors. They have also used place-based education methods in faculty development and training. Using student-centered, placed-based teaching and learning models, Shawyn works to help communities of learners engage in symbiotic relationships between self, others, and place to co-create meaning, story, and empowerment-backed praxis to lift voices, identities, and experiences often left in the margins.

Dr. Katherine Drechsler is an Online Assistant Professor in the College of Social Work at the University of Utah and an Emeritus Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. She teaches in both the Bachelor's and Master's programs. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin, Dr. Drechsler holds a specialty authorization in Substance Abuse as well as a license in School Social Work. With over 30 years of experience in the field, her professional background spans child welfare, juvenile justice, and the treatment of individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in an integrated, community-based settings focused on comprehensive care.

Holli (Pictured on the left) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who earned her MSW from the University of St. Thomas–College of St. Catherine in 2009. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and certified in Havening Techniques®, she also serves as a Minnesota Board of Social Work–approved supervisor. Discovering Havening was a turning point in her career, revealing its powerful potential to reduce distress and heal unresolved emotional experiences. Holli is dedicated to integrating this neuroscience-informed approach into her practice and is inspired by the profound, lasting change Havening can create for individuals seeking relief from trauma.

 I'm Samantha Feryance, Training Manager for Evidence-Based Practices and Development at Lutheran Social Services. I have been with LSS since February 2014. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Counselor Education from UW–Platteville and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2017. My experience includes roles as a sexual assault advocate, CSP case manager and therapist, and CCS service facilitator and therapeutic provider. I joined the LSS leadership team in 2015, where my passion for developing training to support staff growth expanded. My goal is to build employee comfort and confidence to support those we serve.

Tracy Fischer, CSW, has been a Certified Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin for more than 20 years. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with degrees in Social Work and Criminal Justice. Throughout her career, Tracy has worked in a variety of human services settings, including housing and international adoption, with the majority of her professional experience focused on serving older adults. She currently serves as the Manager of the ADRC of Dunn County, where she oversees programs supporting older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers. Tracy is passionate about innovative approaches to reducing senior isolation and enhancing quality of life through technology.

She is a Brainspotting Consultant with a specialty in nervous system education, helping clinicians and clients alike understand the body's role in healing and self-connection. Patrice works primarily with women navigating anxiety, sensitivity, and high-functioning stress, using Brainspotting to facilitate deep, sustainable change. Sara Ganser, MSW, LCSW, APHSW‑C, is a licensed clinical social worker and palliative care specialist with extensive experience supporting individuals and families through serious illness, aging, loss, and complex decision‑making. She serves on the Ethics Committee at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, where she integrates clinical skill with ethical clarity and values‑based communication. Sara’s work focuses on helping clients and care teams navigate high‑stakes conversations with cultural humility, emotional attunement, and respect for self‑determination. As an educator and advocate for communication excellence in social work, she is dedicated to strengthening practitioner confidence, resilience, and ethical presence across diverse practice settings.

Jennifer Gervais, EdD, MSW, LICSW

Jennifer Gervais, EdD, MSW, LICSWDr. Jennifer Gervais is an Associate Professor in the College of Social Work at the University of Utah, with over two decades of experience in mental health practice and education. She has held leadership roles in the field, including serving on a governor-appointed mental health advisory board in Minnesota and currently serving as President of the Council on Social Work Education Wisconsin chapter. Dr. Gervais has focused her teaching and research on competency-based education in social work, as well as social-emotional learning and mindfulness in student success. Her scholarship has been published in the Journal of Competency-Based Education and featured in outlets such as Minnesota Parent Magazine and Yoga Calm.

Dr. Jeffrey B. Gorelick, MD (he, him)

Dr. Jeffrey B. Gorlick

Dr. Jeffrey Gorelick is a board-certified physiatrist who has practiced at Pain Rehabilitation Associates since 1992. He continues to use the latest medical advances in combination with basic rehabilitation principles in non-surgical pain care and is driven by the desire to assist in people’s improvements in pain. Dr. Gorelick has always been drawn to science and as a young adult developed a heartfelt devotion to community, making his path to medicine a natural progression. He received an undergraduate degree in chemistry in 1977, earned a medical degree in 1981, and trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 1981-1985. Additionally, he was involved in a part time bioethics fellowship from 1988-1991. Initially, his clinical background focused on helping people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, multiple fractures, and pain. During his 30+ years of treating individuals with pain, he has recognized the powerful impact of pain. This has altered the focus of his clinical practice by applying a combination of basic medical principles with state-of-the-art therapies to help people who are experiencing acute and chronic pain. In his free time, Dr. Gorelick enjoys playing the bass clarinet, biking, swimming, and spending time with his family and friends.

Emily Green is a School Psychotherapist at Jefferson County Human Services. She primarily provides therapeutic services in two school districts to students in the middle and high schools. When she is not at the schools, she provides therapeutic services with younger children and adults in the outpatient clinic. Emily has been in the field for just over 4 years starting in the comprehensive community services (CCS) program at the county and then working in the outpatient clinic.

Joan Groessl is Director of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. In addition to her administrative duties, she teaches in both BSW and MSW Programs. She is active in curriculum development. Joan’s research emphasis has been ethics, professional development, interprofessional practice, scholarship of teaching and learning, and continuing education. She is active in NASW as current board secretary and continuing education chair. Joan has three grown sons, and five grandchildren and can often be found with a book in her hand on the lakeshore.

Melissa Haas, OTRL, MSW, LCSW, IECMH-EMelissa Haas, OTR/L, MSW, LCSW, IECMH-E® is an occupational therapist and licensed clinical social worker. She has been working with children and families as an occupational therapist for the past 25 years and as a social worker for the past six years. She has worked in schools, homes, and hospitals with children and families.

Ke'Andra Hagans is a clinical associate professor, program coordinator for school social work, and field liaison in the Social Work Department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed school social worker. Throughout her career, Ke'Andra has focused on serving children, families, and individuals in a variety of capacities, including as a psychotherapist, program coordinator, group facilitator, school social worker, and clinical director. She has also worked with populations in out-of-home placement, residential, and inpatient settings. She has served as a mentor for developing professionals in the fields of clinical and school social work.

Fabiola Hamdan, MSSW, Prevention Early Intervention-Community Programs Manager, Dane County Department of Human Services

Fabiola Hamdan, MSSW

 Fabiola Hamdan has been a champion and advocate for the Latino community throughout her 27-year career as a social worker. She is currently the PEI Human Services Manager—Community Programs. She became Dane County’s first Immigration Affairs Specialist in 2017 after serving as a community social worker with Dane County Department of Human Services for 18 years.

Fabiola has been described as a quiet, but powerful community leader—someone who sees a need and takes action simply because it’s the right thing to do. “I have been determined to fight for social justice and to use my lived experience to help people,” she said.

She immigrated as a teenager from La Paz- Bolivia to Madison with her family in the 1980s so her mother could be treated for a brain tumor at UW Hospital. They didn’t have health insurance or assistance and her parents’ savings had been invested in her mother’s care, so Fabiola remembers working any job she could to contribute.

Fabiola earned a Bachelor of Science and a master's degree in social work from UW-Madison and devoted herself to being of service to others. As she says, “I love Madison, but I want to have a community that is safe and provides a better life and better opportunities for all people.”

Fabiola is a role model for women of all generations! 

Marc Herstand, MSW, CISW, (he, him)

Marc Herstand has served as the Executive Director of the National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter since 1992. In this position, Marc has facilitated the passage of bills on tele-mental health, licensure, mental health services in schools and Vendorship through the Wisconsin State Legislature and the passage of several rules benefiting clinical social workers through the Department of Health Services. During the Covid-19 pandemic he successfully petitioned the Evers Administration to allow telephone therapy and implement the tele-mental health bill in record time. Marc has also successfully organized campaigns to stop several bills and rules that would have harmed the social work profession. Marc has organized statewide coalitions on the Extreme Risk Protection Order (Red Flag legislation), the Child Victim’s Act and Conversion Therapy and has organized over twelve NASW-WI advocacy days. Marc greatly expanded the Wisconsin Chapter’s annual conference, began the Chapter’s Winter Webinar series and home study program and oversaw the development of NASW-WI’s Fact Sheets on Child Welfare, Corrections and Hospital Social Work. Previous to this position Marc served as Executive Director of Health Care for the Homeless of Milwaukee, the San Diego AIDS Project, Planned Parenthood of Southeast Iowa and as Social Services Coordinator at the Council for the Spanish Speaking, Inc. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the mid-70’s, Marc served as a VISTA Volunteer in the Central Valley of California where he recruited farmworkers and other low income families to participate in a self-help housing program. Trevor Huskey, LCSW has been a social worker for 28 years, a therapist for 22 years, and specialized in anxiety for 12 years.  He presents on anxiety and other mental health topics at public libraries, universities, a mental health, agencies, and in April of this year he presented at the Wisconsin Regional NAMI conference.  Mr. Huskey also has a website with free material on it, a podcast, entitled The Breathtaking World of Anxiety, and volunteers in his community by providing two different men's groups.

Dr. Leslie Jaber-Wilson holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), a Master of Social Work (MSW), and a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW). She is a professor in the MSW program at UMass Global and has over 20 years of experience as a social work educator and program administrator. Dr. Jaber-Wilson has more than 35 years of direct social work practice across diverse settings, specializing as an advanced practice social worker in Wisconsin with training as an adoption-competent clinician. 

Her extensive professional background includes work in child welfare, therapeutic foster care, mental health services, non-profit development and management, and quality and risk management. She has also trained as a Disaster Mental Health Specialist with the American Red Cross and led the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team at a large community mental health center in Washington. 

In collaboration with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Fond du Lac Chapter, Dr. Jaber-Wilson helped establish and secure funding for a mental health drop-in center, where she served on the board for many years, contributing through grant writing and training initiatives. Additionally, she serves as a grant reviewer for the United Way in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. 

A strong advocate for foster care, Dr. Jaber-Wilson founded a treatment foster care agency and continues to train both foster parents and foster care social workers. She facilitates support groups for foster parents and emphasizes the importance of co-parenting between foster and birth parents. Her approach promotes reunification for children in care by reducing loyalty conflicts and feelings of ambiguous loss.

This is a camp where relationships drive healing and joy balances sadness. Maria graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and then received her Master's in Social Work from the University of Denver. From there, she spent a decade working in the Madison Metropolitan School District. In addition to Camp HOPE, she now works as a Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Dr. Mersky’s research interests include the study of how adverse and traumatic experiences impact health and well-being over the lifespan and across generations. He applies his expertise through community-engaged research that aims to help local and state agencies implement effective programs and policies that promote resilience, especially in disadvantaged families and marginalized communities. Reflecting these commitments, Dr. Mersky is heading a mixed-methods evaluation of Lutheran Social Services’ school-based mental health program.

 Neil O’Connor, ACSW, LCSW, became a member of NASW-WI in 1977, while completing his MSSW at the Kent School of Social Work, University of Louisville. Graduating in 1978, he worked briefly as a community organizer in Louisville, then began a 30 year career in health care social work in Sheboygan, WI. In that career, he worked in the areas of emergency/critical care, domestic abuse victim services, renal dialysis, discharge planning, and department management. He worked the last 18 years of that phase as the clinical social worker in the UW Health Oncology Clinics. Simultaneously, Neil served as a social work officer in the US Army Reserve, commissioned in 1982, and retiring in 2012 as a Colonel, Medical Service Corps. His military experience includes staff social work, operations and logistics, executive officer, and trainer-evaluator; he also deployed to Iraq in 2004-05, supervising a military community mental health clinic at the US Army base in Balad, Iraq. In 2008, Neil joined the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ Madison Vet Center, where he worked with war veterans and their families around issues of PTSD and post service re-integration.

Dr. James Power is an Associate Dean and faculty member in the Department of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.  Dr. Nicole Wiesen is the founder and CEO of Returning Her Home, a supportive housing and reentry initiative for women exiting incarceration in Atlanta, Georgia. A licensed social worker in the state of Georgia, she is the developer of the Post-Incarceration Syndrome (PICS™) framework and a national trainer specializing in trauma-informed correctional practice. With over 15 years of experience in carceral programming, community-based care, and systems change, Dr. Wiesen bridges public health, social work, and criminal legal reform. Her work focuses on reducing recidivism, strengthening trauma-responsive leadership, and equipping professionals with practical tools to support justice-impacted individuals.

Toscha Wilkins, LCSWA, LCASA, is a dynamic speaker and clinician with over 20 years of experience across micro, mezzo, and macro social work practice. She currently serves as a Primary Therapist at The Blanchard Institute and is known for delivering engaging, practice-focused training on trauma, resilience, and practitioner sustainability. Toscha has presented at state and national conferences, including NASW North Carolina, Wisconsin, and the 2026 NASW Ocean City, Maryland Conference. She holds a BSW from Wichita State University and an MSW from Indiana University and is passionate about equipping professionals with practical tools that inspire lasting impact.

Sheng Lee Yang, MSW, LCSW, PMH C (she, her)

Sheng is a first generation immigrant who arrived in the U.S. as a refugee at a young age and has remained in Wisconsin since. Today, she is a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker, President and Executive Director for Us 2 Behavioral Health Care. Additionally, she teaches graduate-level courses in Clinical Mental Health and Diversity & Inclusion, and more importantly, is a proud mother of two young girls. Her professional experiences include direct care and leadership positions in public, private, government and nonprofit institutions. Her personal and professional experiences helped cultivate a vision to integrate social justice and cultural humility into mental health. On September 3rd, 2019, Sheng led the opening of Us 2 Behavioral Health Care to increase access to health care in the community with a vision that everyone can be healthier together.

Her extensive experience within the Clubhouse world includes serving on the Clubhouse International Faculty, where she shares her expertise and contributes to the growth of Clubhouses worldwide. Her unwavering belief in the power of the Clubhouse approach to recovery is evident in her daily work, and her deep love for the Clubhouse philosophy and its profound impact on individuals' lives fuels her commitment to creating a vibrant and empowering environment at Chrysalis.
