NASW-WI Conference Volunteer Discount Program
Volunteers help provide key support to make the NASW-WI Conference a success! We hope you will use your energy and skills to give back to the profession.
Please note that this volunteer opportunity is only open to those attending all three days of the conference inperson.
Volunteer Roles
1. Materials Preparation: Volunteers will be needed at the NASW Wisconsin chapter office (Near the Capitol Square in Madison) to help prepare folders and other materials for the attendees and presenters. This will occur on an agreed-upon date two weeks before the conference.
2. Registration and Certificates Distribution: Volunteers will support registration in the morning. This includes checking attendees in and answering questions. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of registration to help with morning registration. You will also support by distributing Continuing Education Hour (CEH) certificates at the end of each day and handling any last-minute changes to the CEHs awarded to attendees. Please expect to leave directly from your last session each day.
3. Photographer: The volunteer will take pictures of speakers and the crowd at all general sessions. They will also take pictures during the breaks of the tabling and at the reception during the 2nd night of the conference from 6-8 PM
4. Session Monitor: Volunteers will introduce the presenters, read announcements, pass the microphone, and support the IT team. You will need to attend a one-hour training session. The date will be determined as we get closer to the conference. The sessions you will monitor will be based on those you choose. NASW-WI interns, BIPOC Student Leaders and students using the group discount program will be placed in sessions based on NASW-WI’s needs.
Discounts: 25% off your registration.
*This cannot be combined with any other discount program. You must attend all three days to qualify for this discount.
