Call For Propsals


NASW-WI is accepting proposals for four-hour intensive training sessions as well as 75-minute, 90-minute, and two-hour workshops. The 2026 conference will highlight practice models, tools, and techniques that demonstrate excellence in social work practice and promote resiliency and a strength-based approach with our clients, community, and society.

 

Proposals that demonstrate excellence in serving clients, promoting advocacy and those that teach skills in social work practice to assist at-risk populations as well as those uplifting and re-energizing practitioners are invited.  

Deadline for proposals is March 31, 2026

In November, NASW’s Chief Executive Officer decided to restructure chapter operations, resulting in fourteen NASW chapter Executive Directors losing their jobs and all the remaining Executive Directors required to take on another chapter. The goal of this monumental change was two-fold from my understanding: 1) To try to equalize services from state to state; 2) To save money for the Association.
