Ready to get involved, build your network, and make an impact?
The National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter (NASW-WI) is looking for passionate social work students from schools across Wisconsin to serve as Student Liaisons for the 2026–2027 academic year.
As a Student Liaison, you’ll serve as the connection between your school and NASW-WI. You’ll help keep your classmates informed about NASW-WI opportunities, share important updates, encourage student involvement, and help bring social work students together around issues that matter to our profession.
One of the biggest opportunities this year is to help organize and promote NASW-WI’s Advocacy Day at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison on April 14, 2027. This event gives social work students the opportunity to learn about advocacy, connect with other social work students and professionals, and engage with the legislative process.
What’s in it for you?
Being a Student Liaison is a great way to:
- Build leadership experience you can add to your résumé
- Expand your professional network with social work students and professionals across Wisconsin
- Get more involved in advocacy and learn how social workers can influence policy
- Represent your school within the statewide social work community
- Connect with other students who are passionate about social work and creating change
