Program Purpose: To provide leadership training to NASW-WI student members who will represent NASW-WI at their social work program and promote NASW-WI membership and advocacy efforts.
Requirements:
•BSW (must be admitted to the social work major) or MSW student at a Wisconsin-accredited social work program
•Participate in the Student Ambassador Leadership Training program and scheduled conference calls with the Executive Director and other ambassadors
•Promote NASW membership and advocacy efforts on your campus through class presentations, meetings with the social work student association, and contacts with students through social media, tabling, emails, and other methods
•Keep NASW WI informed about social work student activities and concerns at your college or university
•Help recruit NASW WI Ambassadors for the following year
