Wisconsin Social Workers PAC Supports a Social Worker and Chapter Member for the Wauwatosa School Board


The Wisconsin Social Workers PAC, the political arm of the National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter, is pleased to endorse chapter member and social worker Melissa Lamers, MSW, APSW, for the Wauwatosa School Board.

NASW-WI PAC Endorses Melissa Lamers

Melissa has been a Medical Social Worker with Aurora Health Care for 15 years and a Wauwatosa resident for 11 years. She has served as a District Family Engagement Liaison in collaboration with the Wauwatosa School District and the WI Statewide Parent Educator Initiative (WSPEI) since 2020. She is running to “ensure every student, regardless of their abilities, receives a comprehensive and inclusive education that meets their unique needs.” She is also focused on student wellbeing and empowering educators and staff.
